In a tribute to the puzzle game, the difficultly of this real life ‘Tower of Hanoi‘ came not from having to arrange the stones into order of size but to get them to stack in the first place.

a unique arrangement… similsr to an inukshuk from the far north in Canada
I’ve learnt a new word today as I’d never heard of ‘inukshuk’ but took the chance to look it up on wikipedia. I must say the efforts of those that made the examples shown in those pictures were infinitely superior to my own meagre effort.

In the country, this “tower” is a actually a mountain trail sign.
Sorry for the confusion it wasn’t intended…as this was very close to sea level the only people who would ever consider this as a mountain trail sign would have travelled from Lilliput 🙂
