Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Markets

Ailsa of Where’s my backpack? has proposed another photo challenge and this week her challenge is Street Markets.

So here are my examples from Barcelona’s La Rambla (or Las Ramblas as it is commonly known).

La Boqueria Barcelona

In my opinion, one of the best markets in the world is The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria, often simply referred to as La Boqueria situated just off La Rambla. As that space is taken up mainly by foodstuffs and as this post is actually about street markets here are a few examples of what you can find on the main thoroughfare itself.

And yes on La Rambla they even sell animals ranging from Budgerigars to Ducks and Rabbits to Iguanas.
